In a world full of noise and emotional pressure, many of us find ourselves carrying invisible burdens—pain, confusion, disconnection, or a sense of being lost. Irshacare was created to meet people at those crossroads, offering a quiet, faith-conscious space for reflection, healing, and rediscovery.
Whether you’re facing anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, identity questions, or spiritual unease, Irshacare provides a compassionate and confidential environment to explore what you’re going through. We honour not just your emotions, but your entire self—mind, heart, and soul.
The word Irsha (إرشاد) means guidance—and this is central to our mission. We help individuals navigate life’s challenges with dignity, clarity and purpose, drawing from both timeless wisdom and modern therapeutic practice.
But true guidance is not only about direction. It’s also about purification. That’s why we place tazkiyyah—the nurturing and refining of the soul—at the core of what we do. Our work supports both outer transformation and inner growth, grounded in values of mercy (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah), and trust (amana).
At Irshacare, healing is not seen as a clinical transaction. It’s a sacred process—personal, spiritual, and deeply human.
Sheikh Awadalla Youssef is the heart behind Irshacare. Originally from Egypt, he brings over 40 years of experience in counselling, education, Islamic scholarship, and community leadership. He is an accredited therapist with the ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists) and has worked with individuals, couples, students and organisations across a wide range of emotional, spiritual and relational challenges.
His academic and professional journey is both rich and rare. He holds:
Since moving to the UK in 1991, Sheikh Awadalla has served as an imam, educator, Islamic consultant, and interfaith representative, actively engaging in national dialogues and faith forums. He is also the founder of Azhari Consultancy and Training Ltd., through which he has supported a wide network of professionals, academics, and clients in both formal and informal therapeutic settings.
He currently leads a project developing an alternative counselling model rooted in compassion (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah) and spiritual purification (tazkiyyah)—a uniquely integrated approach to mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Sessions are offered in English and Arabic and are guided by deep presence, ethical care, and respect for the client’s values and journey.
At Irshacare, we don’t offer quick fixes or impersonal advice. We offer presence. Listening. Sincere companionship through your emotional and spiritual journey.
Because healing doesn’t just mean ‘getting over’ something. Sometimes it means returning to who you really are.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
We believe in healing that honours the whole person—body, mind, heart and soul. Guided by the principles of irshad (wise direction) and tazkiyyah (spiritual purification)
